Still ran into a setback when the right trumpet came off. This is one of the bearings in which the crown wheel hangs. This bearing already did not want to come loose from the crown wheel, but finally pushed itself out of the housing. Somehow this bearing did get pretty corroded, including on the raceway. It also ran pretty stiff. After being rinsed out with WD-40, it faltered a lot more. The other side still looked good, but then I might as well replace them both.
