Currently the Hatz engine block is on the workbench, for new retaining rings and a thorough cleaning. Does anyone have any ideas on how to clean the aluminum cylinder and cylinder head? There is all greasy deposits on these. I've already given it a few rounds of WD40, brake cleaner and pressure washer, but that has no effect now. Are there perhaps other ways to get the last of the gunk off? The cooling fins on top of the head are hard to reach, so brushing or scrubbing is almost impossible. Thanks in advance!
