Photo of the final drive of the portal axles of the Kramer U800 with the planetary gear system, and brake shoes with cylinder. Why easy if you can do it the hard way, they must have thought at Kramer, because Jesus, what a complex system it is. It was quite a task to get this apart, not to mention to get it back together.... At first glance, everything internally (other than the brake system) looks like new. A lot of things need to be replaced, including the brake cylinders, brake lining, retaining rings, hand brake cables and of course the gaskets with the brake lines.
