Seltene SV! Even at small meetings I sometimes come across surprises. I came across this Super 550SV in Holzwickenende. The Super 550 was pretty much the all-rounder in its power class in the late 60s. Heavy enough for the farmer, and interesting as a lighter tractor for the contractor. Because these tractors also sometimes ended up in forestry, Schlüter released a weighted version of the 550, which were sold as a 550S 2wd tractor and as a 550SV as a 4 wheel tractor. The tractor then had the ZF A216 gearbox that was also built in the 6 cylinder Super 650. The engine also later got 62 hp instead of the usual 55. And the latter even left the factory with 65 hp. The 550S also had its own baureihe, so it says on the picture 550S with the number behind it. The one on the picture has number 035. In the 70s, when the proportion of forestry tractors among the Schlüter's increased, and they were allowed to carry the plaque that these tractors were tested and recommended for forestry, separate types for forestry came on the market, which came on the market as Super or Compact XXX SV. For example, a Super 650SV had the basis of a Super 850 or later even that of a 1050. Forestry tractors were usually also painted in green, unless the customer wanted otherwise of course. This tractor in the picture is still a real agricultural version with lifting device, fritzmeyer verdeck, front wheel drive and front loader. I could also deduce from the type plate that this tractor has a speed. For then a richly equipped tractor! Despite the standard green color!
