Massey Harris 44 van MMaarten

Massey Harris 44 | Picture made by MMaarten

Marcel Bosmans from Enghien (B) was a manufacturer of agricultural machinery, who also did some contract work. It was especially after the war years 1940-45 that Marcel Bosmans was very active. Chopping trucks were not really available on the machine market yet. So Marcel built his own silage trucks for his own contracting company. Marcel did chopping here with a Lundell chopper on a Massey Harris 44K. Notice the separate car behind the Lundell chopper, a shearer. By winding a push plate inside, the load was pushed out.
