Schlüter Meerdere van Schluterfan

Schlüter Meerdere | Picture made by Schluterfan

Allen wollen Sie mitfahren... Overcrowded cabins were standard anyway on the field days organized by Schlüter himself... And on the latter, the premium A cabins were not even big enough anymore, so that many enthusiastic Schlüter enthusiasts even just rode along on the fenders, something that was "dead normal" in the 50s and 60s. In 1993, when this photo was taken, not of course, but whether the public thought of it for a moment? For many real enthusiasts (at the last edition there would have been about 30 to 35000 visitors) these days were also a bit of the "highlight" of the year. And if they did not have the place, opportunity or money to buy such a tractor, it was of course a dream away! We write at the end of September 1993. Anton Schlüter had just informed his staff that the doors were closing. News that apparently hit like a bomb, since the staff, in order to recover from the news, threw just about everything they came across... Now that the spectators are still... That happened on these field days. The flags of LTS (LandTechnik Schlüter) were already flying next to those of Schlüter itself. The enthusiasts apparently accept that Schlüter will change hands. Only that could not turn the tide anymore. On the left the Euro Trac, Schlüter's last offensive to save his name as a tractor builder. In addition, one of the most "Oer-Schlüters" out there, the Profi Trac 5000TVL. Then still in factory ownership, since the tractor moved to Schönebeck. The Euro Trac of the photo, a 1600LS does not. He already had an owner and stayed close to home. Summer straw squeezing, Winter snow shoveling at the Jozef Strauss airport in Munich. And... of course also occasionally ride along on the Schlüter field days! Also on the field days organized by the Schlüterclub Freising. Of course I am never 100% sure, but details make me suspect that I saw this tractor on the field days in 2009. The red gave way to burgundy, the nose weight for a console for a Stoll front loader. The 5000TVL has now received a nice pension, the Euro Trac, on the other hand, is less fortunate... Due to a short circuit in the electrical wiring, the tractor fell victim to fire. Repairing was apparently no longer an option, so he disappeared from the scene. The owner's heart must have stood still for a while, but fortunately he can still fall back on at least 3 other Schlüters, in the form of a Compact 1350TV6 High Speed, Compact 1050V6 (which has been slightly modified to a 1350) and a Super 1250V. Fortunately, we saw the 5000TVL on the scene again in 2017, and even at work (until the fuel oil filters were clogged ...)! To come back to the Field Days. According to Karel Heinz Fischer, it was also at least a week's work at the time to prepare the Gut Schlüterhof for the demos and the public. And after the field days another week to clean up all the mess... One thing they never had to do, that was to remove the arrows and billboards with the announcements of the field days, which were almost all swept away by the enthusiasts as a souvenir for home :D. Something I've secretly already done...
