The fiddling with the wires is starting to come together. Today I connected the lights and everything seems to work. Only the light on the dashboard when you put it on the ignition stays off. And the toot did work when I had the pushbutton loose, but once it was in its place in the steering wheel, it refused all cooperation. I still have to solve these things and fix the cables everywhere with clamps, then I can cross that off as well.
