August 18, 2017 photo of a miedema 1780 duoband. We don't often buy a new machine, but a good used duoband for little money could not be found. Then a new one that fits well in the rest of the miedema line. The total length extended is 17 meters and the width is 80 cm. That is more than big for the current hall filler, but the previous duo band was, I think, from the early 80s. So they sometimes last a long time. We are now the first 15 hectares with the tippers in the barn. Then we have to go outside with the tipper and cistern. We made a rack ourselves with a few LED lights to be able to choose the product. At the end of the duoband we made a sprit that guides the cord of the hall filler in such a way that the cord cannot get under the wheels. The barn is 20 m wide and we often fill it in 1 time over the entire width. We can harvest 6 ha before the hall filler has to be moved the first time.
