Schlüter Super 2000 TVL | Picture made by Schluterfan

2000er! "2000" is one of the magic numbers for Schlüter lovers. If you are in possession of a "2000", many enthusiasts will raise eyebrows. 2000 stands symbolism, for how could it be otherwise, a tractor with an 8 cylinder in line turbo engine. Hartmut Hartl is one such man who has the honor of owning such a "2000". ALTHOUGH there are also 2000's that originally left the factory with a MAN 6 cylinder turbo (intercooler) engine, and I am talking about the Super 2000LS and Euro Trac 2000LS. Usually it is about Super 2000TVL's, or TVL Special's with a tipping cab, although there is also a series with a fixed wheelhouse. And yes, there is of course also a very small series, actually prototypes, that did not even have a wheelhouse! Of the very first 2000's only 3 were built, one with cabin, the other 2 without. The tractor in the picture is the only one left. In France, this type has also driven demos, but then as Super E9500TV (due to the 9.5lliter turbo engine). The tractor could be recognized by a black sticker band on the bonnet with that type indication on it. The tractor with cab was soon on the first leaflets of the Super's in the early 70s. Anton Schlüter apparently quickly believed that there were buyers for this, so this type quickly appeared in the price lists. In 1973 you had to cough up about 91450DM for it, without a wheelhouse. This tractor once ran in the vicinity of the Luxembourg border. I met him for the first time in 2009, in his former hometown of Freising. Then still in the old form, with a lack eaten bonnet. In 2016, the tractor reappeared, this time at the meeting in Nordhorn, with a fresh lack layer. And 2 years ago I met him again, in Voglried.
