July 23, 2021. Photo of a Linde e25 Forklift. When processing the uprooted tulips, we often miss out when we need a forklift. For the last few years we have been renting just 1. This year we specifically asked for an electric Linde e25. We now have 2 Linde diesel trucks of 2.5 tons and 1 Stihl electric 2-tonner. Then a truck like this seems like a handy machine for us. Just had a look to see what the advantages and disadvantages are. We rented it for 2 weeks during a busy period, so we have a good idea of it now. Points of attention are: How to refill water, step height vs. battery capacity. Visibility with 3-piece mast or 2-piece mast, pneumatic tires/massive, visibility with fork adjuster, blue spot or beeper, 4th function:where do you put the taps then, hours mode, aggressive or quiet setting, linde cross handles, Linde forward-reverse pedal, doors or not? Still a lot of puzzles to solve before we know what will suit us best. (I tend to be quite critical of finicky things).
