Schlüter Super 2000 TVL van Schluterfan

Schlüter Super 2000 TVL | Picture made by Schluterfan

When the corn harvest made its advance in the 70s, Schlüter was early on in testing tractors on corn choppers. For those who found a self-propelled at that time a bit too exuberant, they could also opt for an 185 hp strong Schlüter Super 2000TVL with 8 cylinder in-line turbo engine and a Mengele SH30H 3-rower. It is also clear to see that the driver is sitting the other way around. That was possible if you ordered the so-called "Rüfa" with the tractor. This allowed the entire driver's station to rotate 180°. This 2000 is another one from before the cab change in '80, recognizable by the red inner plates of the rear fenders and the metal front fenders. There are also '20*8R38 on the back of the tractor. When from '80 the "newer" cab was mounted on the tractors, 20 *8R42 was also possible, and many 2000 also went about 40 km / h fast. The fact that Schlüter had been working on a development around "Rüfa" for some time is evident from the fact that in the early 70s the first Super's already appeared on the field with a "fixed" Rüfa. Here an additional wheelhouse with pedal work was mounted above the lifting device. Mengele and Pöttinger systems were also possible. That was a tube with a wheelhouse mounted, which was mounted between the fenders. Mengele's system was made in such a way that a tube with a shaft ran from the wheelhouse to the side to an angled gearbox. That gearbox had an axle to the front where a combination of axles with discards operated the steering wheel in front. Schlüter later made a similar arrangement in the types with the first hydraulically tipping cab, but with a hydraulically operated steering wheel, so that the axle system could be omitted. I already saw such a system with a Super 2000TVL... In 1984, Schlüter developed the Super 2200TVL with a dual-clutch gearbox. About the same idea that can now be found in the New Holland Dynamic Command and John Deere E23? However, even before that, the time was not yet ripe and Schlüter was forced to continue with the normal transmission. It also saw more salvation in the Super Trac, so that the Super Trac 2000-2200, whether or not from '88 with LS, remained in production until the end of the factory... That the 2000's belong to many Schlüter enthusiasts is one of the top favorites is still clear today. A similar combination in the picture is still driving around on the Feldvorführungen which after almost 30 years after factory closure can count on a lot of attention...
