October 8, 2021 Photo of a Grimme Varitron 470 and a New-Holland tm135 with Vaia 16-tonner. A fellow grower/potato trader is harvesting the potatoes from us this year. It is always a bit of stealing between the showers. At the first plot of 14 days ago, the soil was too dry, but they gave off rain. After 4 mm of rain, 11 mm was quickly thrown in and immediately grubbed up in the afternoon from 16:00 - 00:00 (8.4 ha, ). Last week it rained 50 mm here. Friday afternoon started on 15 hectares. After the coffee the first cart at the cistern. Saturday afternoon they were out. The last plot is still to be created. Now it's the turn of others first. It depends on the rain when the harvester is back. The Grimme extracts a lot of foliage and soil from it. The bunker is not that big, but it is quickly empty. We rode with a 10-tonner, 14-tonner and a 16-tonner. The plot is 3 km away from the barn. There was always a cart in front of the cistern and the harvester could always drive on, so the logistics were in order.
