Photo of a New Holland T 6050 sowing winter wheat. Here the variety ecstasy is sown. The seeder is set to 180 kg/ha and is working at a speed of 6.5 km/h. Last year on this light plot, the potato land was worked with the trencher and then the wheat was sown with the harrow seeder. However, this did not turn out well because after the rain that followed and the already fairly wet land there was some dragging. Especially in the ruts. In the end this did turn out well with a harvest of 9.5 tons/ha. Therefore, this year we decided to just plow the land and then sow it with the harrow seeder. This will hopefully reduce sloughing and allow water to drain better.
