With this scouring line we scour the potatoes at our own place. It all went rather quickly this year. It was all running without a hitch, so as a barn boss (me) you don't have to do much. There was plenty of time to stand at the belt to pick out the last clods, but there weren't many clods either. The cistern didn't have to stand still much, because when the cart was empty, the next one was already waiting. Next winter we want to see if we can boost the cistern 20% with another poullie on the drive of the bottom mat. This photo is from 20:15. After this we harvested for another 4 hours and then the potato harvest was over for us for this year. Fortunately we were able to finish everything before planting the tulips. If you can finish everything one by one, that is often the best way to work.
