Photo of a Fendt Xylon 524 because we expect to pit fairly green grass, we only put a little straw under it to catch the press juices. That was also an advice from the water board. If you do not have a juice collection under the pit, straw is advised. In retrospect, I think less straw could have been done because it was still quite dried off.
