23 October 2021 Photo of a Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 6190 TTV with Leenpoel 1,50m flapper and Amac E2 harvester. Today I washed the windows. Monday the GPS receiver on it and then see if it is about liatris balls to harvest. It is always exciting to go into the country with such weather reports in October / November with an Amac, but so far they have come out every year. Sometimes with the help of the contractor and often also a bit day and night. Fortunately, we can always call on a regular driver who likes to drive Deutz-Fahr, gets along well with harvesters and if there are pieces, does not stop until it is repaired. We also work together with a fellow grower who even once made sure that the harvest came out without me being there (I was planting tulips during the day and driving potatoes at night). This harvester has a square wriggled harvester. Here we have the best harvesting results. We've been doing this pretty much since 2012. For this we worked with a Samon onion harvester and this Amac executed as a loader. That worked under wetter conditions much less, moreover, the 2-phase system cost a male extra which we do not always have. I hope to place some ghettos of harvesting, rinsing and peeling in the coming weeks.
