I took this picture in 1997about 10 meters from my parents' front door.shortly before Marcel's death.Marcel taught me the basics of tractor driving at a very young age. I was allowed to sit behind the wheel when they were loading straw or hay or when unloading beetroot heads or turnips (we say rochting).the tractor often drove without a driver in the slowest gear so I loved being able to steer, at first only straight ahead but soon he taught me to stop, leave, taking turns and one thing led to another .this was the first tractor I drove and with which the tractor virus started with me and never disappeared.
