Between the many coughing fits we continue quietly... The 6600 is now almost completely parts. I only want to try to disassemble the front axle this coming weekend. After I put the front axle on the trestles, I noticed something. This front axle is of the same type as that of my Compact 950, only here the mounting of the reductions appears to be different... I know that this front axle is no longer the original one that was built into the factory, but it is of the same type. This front axle was once under the wrecker Schlüter that I have, and that is from March '68. The tractor I restore is from January '73. Apparently, at ZF, they adapted this type of front axle during its production period. The universal joints also seem different. To be continued...
