Our Ocmis reel of 450 meters is then too short. This can be solved with art and flying; But the Ocmis is also 11 years old (you wouldn't say yet). So I ordered a new reel with longer hose. This has a hose of 600 meters long with a diameter of 120. A larger 125 mm hose could also be on it, but then it could only be something of 520 m long and that was just too short. You can also choose a type larger and then it would have been appropriate. According to the tables, we should be able to achieve about the same capacity as with the Ocmis 110-450. It is a much larger machine than the previous one. There were therefore no radial tires in this size that can carry this load. Mounting higher tires was not really practical. The reel now just turns over it and it stays just below 4 meters. height The reel is built with combi boosters. These are brake cylinders that work on both air and oil pressure. Often there will be a tractor in front of it that does not yet have air brakes. Inhibition is important. We always keep the transport speed low, but I estimate that the whole machine full of water weighs 11.5 tons and then you have to have the braking well done.
