April 26, 2022 Photo of an SLNA 8034 motor pump. An 80 cubic meter pump set with 3-4 pump from Smits in Veldhoven, Netherlands. Year of construction 2001. Iveco 4-cylinder of 102 hp.Suction arm built up by mechanization company. 5-inch suction hose. Engine overhauled at 9,000 hours. New pump installed in 2020 (MEC). Since we have 2 reels, 1 tractor pump is a little tight. We considered a 2nd tractor pump, but then we had to buy a tractor to go with it. Also considered a new pump set, but they also cost around 24K these days and we didn't have that to spare. Consumption at 12 bar at the pump is 12 bar and pumping starts with Venturie. Meanwhile, we extended the drawbar so we can take it behind the hose reel puller. I also want to take another look at the suction arm to see if it can't be folded in a little further so it's a little narrower and we don't have to turn it forward for transport.
