That's one disadvantage of 2 reels though; it costs another tractor extra. Until last year, we used to spend 3 tractors on irrigation; now there are 4. The Ocmis leaked quite a bit of water along the seal of the shaft to the gearbox in the turbine housing. With a new turbine housing that was solved. The front loader is still on it, which is to drive crates of tulip bulbs from the harvester to the headland. The tractors get their service every year in the winter. At that service, the 85 had 4,464 hours and the 6.15 had 11,944 hours. Still, I prefer driving the 6.15 6-cylinder.and the ZF 7200 bucket. In this picture they are offsetting each other. The Bauer just sprayed the longer field, now it's the turn of the more maneuverable Ocmis with the high ground clearance. Spraying simultaneously with both reels was not an option for now, because we needed almost all the hose. I estimate about 1,700 meters. The capacity of both reels is the same. I had set the motor pump to full throttle. The pressure gauge showed 13 bar at the pump. At the reel, 8 bar of that was left. At the gun it was still 3.5 bar with nozzle 28. That means 55 cubic meters per hour. The working width was still adequate. The throw was 46 meters and the spray tracks in the potatoes are at 39 meters.
