Schlüter Meerdere van Schluterfan

Schlüter Meerdere | Picture made by Schluterfan

Schlüter, Anno 1974! From the time when schlüter was doing well... A good example of the Schlüter range from 1974. Photo is of course one from the Archives of Schlüter himself and made at the "Versuchszentrum", or even better known as "Gut Schlüterhof", the farm where Dr. Anton Schlüter lived, where the prototypes were built and tested. This location is today owned by Weihenstephan, a well-known German dairy and beer brewery. On the picture you can see 6 Super's and the 2nd Profi Trac 3000TVL, recognizable by the ZF axles. Due to modifications, this tractor was later converted to Profi Trac 3500TVL and was even active for a while on a Belgian farm, where a Compact 850V also ran. After a long life, the tractor came into the hands of Ludwig Streitberg via Egelseer (who restored the tractor). The man who brought this tractor to what it is today, Profi Gigant. Seen from here it is difficult to say which Super tractors are involved, the first is anyway a Super 2000TVL, the first series-built Schlüter with 8 cylinder in line turbo engine with 185 hp. Also a successful tractor in the export, because half went straight to Yugoslavia under type designation Super E9500TV. The tractor next to it seems to me to be a Super 1250VL, although it is difficult to see whether the mother weight has an extension or not... The rear 2 are Super 850's, as they still have a front axle without signal delays. The furthest seems to me to be an export tractor, so without front-wheel fenders, but with the exhaust down. It is remarkable that an exhaust upwards was an option, and many Schlüterkoper ticked this option. The red/grey/beige colour scheme was also still in the options list. Most likely, these two options were ticked by many sellers and used as a kind of "discount strategy" in the possible purchase... Also, all these tractors already have the "Super Silence Kabine", with closed back. The 2 middle Schlüter's are a bit of a question mark. It can be 850, 950 and 1050's... Only based on how this picture was made, I can unfortunately hardly see this. Detail, Schlüter did not make tractors under 70hp anymore at that time... Photo: Werk Schlüter Freising
