Did another drive in Germany today. Because there were 2 companies in Belgium who could not/did not start it, I took the gearbox to the same Mechanic who also overhauled my engine this year. Right after unloading with the forklift, they disassembled the shift forks. I could just keep looking at it and they immediately saw why it kept jumping out of reverse whenever I released the gas pedal. The reverse gear was almost loose on the main shaft. The gearbox did have to come apart completely because at the bottom there was way too much play on er m certain gear as well. I also brought the 2 final drives so he could completely overhaul the brakes as well. He was also going to assemble everything at once. I have full confidence in the best man and left for Belgium with a very good feeling... He laughingly said: Ein Hobby, das kein Geld kostet, ist auch kein richtiges Hobby.... And I have to agree with him too....
