Jan. 25, 2023 Photo of a Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 6.15 with Rauch B-713 fertilizer spreader. Fertilizer should be spread on tulips and peonies before they come up. Here I already rinsed the spreader clean before I thought of taking a picture. I usually spread with the Agrotron mk3, but it was just clean in the barn, while this 6.15 was still covered in compost. Front weight was needed, so I just left the front loader on. The 6.15 is on relatively small tires for such work. Rear 650/65R38 and drill 540/65R28. I slightly underestimated what that does to rutting. More than 7 tons rest on the rear axle with a full spreader. Next year again but with the 120.... It is easy that such a spreader fits on several tractors (the spreader reaches the driving speed of the tractor) and fits on 4 tractors and maybe even 5. Would a spreader on a wheel set work better? Then it could hold a few more bags and all tires at lower pressure. Seems like more work to spray off though.
