F March 11, 2023 Photo of a Massey Ferguson 590 with Lely Centerliner fertilizer spreader. I had to drop something off at this farmer in our village. I was lucky because he was at home and his fertilizer spreader was shining in the sun. I was allowed to take a picture and take a look inside. For me this was nostalgia, because we also had 2 590s. We still have the Centerliner in our barn exactly like this one, but with hydraulic product slide and original edge spreading kit. This 590 has Multipower under the steering wheel and if I remember correctly 5,800 hours. The owner is an arable farmer with a traditional cropping plan; in addition to spreading fertilizer, this tractor is still in front of the deep cultivator. I find it incredible that the tractor with this work is still in such good condition. I have been following this 1982 tractor for 40 years. As a teenager I often brought potatoes in boxes to the auction. It opened at 7 a.m. I think. So this tractor with the father of this arable was there every day. These 600 tires have only been on it for a few years.
