Photo of an Agricultural Miniatures 1:32 John Deere 8630 tractor. Thursday, March 16, 2023 I had the honor of 12.5 years of service with my( 1st and current official) employer! In the run-up to this anniversary, things were done rather secretively, for example, 3 weeks in advance I was ""accidentally"" thrown out of 2 work appgroups by my department manager at the same time and then added back in( I'm not stupid, obviously knew right away what time it was😜) and then 2 colleagues appended, one "paid" and the other "also paid" only to delete those apps again very quickly after the manager's response "read darlings"... Slightly less secretive was the question I subsequently received a few days later in the evening from the same manager, after a colleague had already heard me out in the morning, what I would like to receive as a gift. When we celebrate an anniversary or farewell to a colleague with many years of service, money is always collected from colleagues. At 12.5 years we receive a bonus from the employer, at 25 years the employer also contributes financially to gifts. I really wanted besides that a package with some goodies was good and tasty/cute something that could always remind me of this anniversary! I suggested that the magazine "Trekker", a cow rug( only miniature was the amount was not full) and an agricultural miniature was nice to which I was then asked which one. So went searching. Couldn't find anything until I remembered in a keet that I had looked at this John Deere 8630 articulated tractor years ago at de Kok in Esbeek and later on bol.com etc. There tractorconnection had him on there. Personally I always thought it was just a bit too expensive despite wanting it! So to make a long story short: I sent a link to this model on tractorconnection's own site (saves about € 11 with bol.com) and the rest is history. For those who want to know, also received a package with lots of goodies, the Agri trader test year book and a cow rug. And in addition gifts from some colleague individually and from parents and brother/sister and their partners!😊 Last Monday we celebrated in the morning at work where I received the package including the book, rug and miniature, and in the evening we went out to dinner with colleagues and my parents at a famous wok restaurant a village away.
