You have "short" Schlüters, long ones and very long ones! Those very long ones, you can undoubtedly count the Super Trac 2000TVL among them! Under the meter-long hood of this tractor is an 8-cylinder in-line engine! With its 9.8liter, this beast easily passed the 200hp mark. An 8cylinder also makes a sound with its own character, something you won't hear from any other brand. At idle it's like an old ship diesel you can hear running, but once the thing gets to 1800 it can even start to whine loudly! The Super Trac 2000TVL is a fairly rare tractor, and was built over 2 generations. The scale model built by Weisse is one of the first generation. This one in the picture is one of the 2nd, you can tell by the mother weight. In total, some 32 Super Trac 2000TVLs were built between 81 and 88. The Super Trac 2000TVL got the Super Trac 2200TVL as its successor in 88. Along with the type change, the tractors also received longer rear fenders; these ran farther along the steps. These are even rarer, as there are only 6 of these! With the introduction of the Super Trac 2200TVL-LS in March 89, the regular Super Trac 2200TVL came to an end. That same year, in November 89 the last Super Trac 2200TVL without the High/Low walked off the assembly line. There were also 2 Super Trac 2000TVL, of the first generation sold in an orange color, ral 2000. These were sold to the Strabag company. To my knowledge, there is only 1 Super Trac running in Belgium, and that is the one owned by Wim Beerten. He has the successor of the 2000/2200, so one with High/Low. There are only 19 of these built...
