"Mit einen Schlüter für und auf den Tieflader nach Nordhorn!" If only I too had such a tensioner.... I took this photo in 2007, when I was in Nordhorn, because that year Schlüter was the theme there. I was barely on the field, or I heard something more coming down the road. After some fumbling to get the camera out of the case, I was able to quickly take a picture of it. After a friendly greeting back to the driver, I was able to study the tractor a bit afterwards. Many say it's a Super 2500VL, really it is, but why the Super 3000TVL type designation on the hood? Well this tractor was factory equipped with a turbo in 1983. Normally, when the 2500s were fitted with a turbo, they had a higher hood (just like the Super 3000TVL). This is not the case with this tractor. The turbo was built next to the engine so that the grille on one side of the tractor extends beyond the hood. The turbo makes this monster have 300hp. An original 2500Vl has no turbo and has 240hp. Tractor on the flatbed is a 1970 Super 1250VL.
