Loonbedrijf S. den Hertog from Benthuizen. A fantastic piece of technology behind the tractor: a Schuitemaker Silage Wagon, a BECO Silage Wagon or a combination of both???? A Beco undercarriage, equipped with advanced technology on the edge of what BECO could handle. For the silage bucket, Schuitemaker was chosen because of the lower chain. The Schuitemaker cover system has been modified. In order to avoid spraying over the box during the chopping process, it is possible to keep the chopped grass/maize inside the box with one cover while standing. The unique combination: Schuitemaker silage wagon that can tilt! The familiar BECO chassis, but beware! the chasis is narrowed so that the whole cart with wide tires is no wider than 2.60 meters!!!! Technical challenge for Beco: how do we still get the tipping hydraulics between the chasis beams? How can we get the last axle to steer without running into the chassis? And so a number of other gadgets of technology have been introduced that make the whole thing a unique combi. Not one, but two of these wagons can be used by Loonbedrijf S. den Hertog from Benthuizen. See also the other pictures.
