Schlüter Compact 950V6 | Picture made by Schluterfan

Schlüter Compact 950V6, busy posing in front of the Schlütervilla :). For years, this villa was the background (sometimes in a different perspective) for the Schlüter "prospekt" photos. In itself perhaps nothing special, but it stood on "Gut Schlüterhof," Schlüter's private farm, where, by the way, Anton Schlüter lived. The 130ha farm allowed newly built prototypes to be tested directly in practice, including the 5000TVL. Also held there every 2 years were the big Schlüter Feldvorführungen, Schlüter's own field days, which sometimes attracted more than 25000 visitors. Today, Gut Schlüterhof is owned by Weihenstephan. All that remains is the villa and the bell tower :(. In the picture a Compact 950V6 of the latest generation, recognizable by the long rear fenders. From the very beginning, in the 70s, the Compact tractor (between 70 and 130hp) would play a very important role in the range. The Super was regarded as the real contractor tractor, where the Compact did the same for the livestock farmer or smaller arable farmer. Even today, the Compact is still a very popular tractor on the 2nd hand market. Most of them have also been fitted with a front hitch or front loader over the years to make the tractor even more profitable. Although the Compact was more soberly equipped, it was not much cheaper than a similar tractor from the Super series with the same power. Example; Compact 1150TV6 cost around 88,500 German Marks in 83, while for the Super 1050V Special you had to cough up 90,700.... For some reason, the "younger" Compact tractors (mid 80's-93's) are also quite expensive in used and are expected to cost 25000 Euros soon! Photo: Schlüter Prospekte Compact Traktomobile.
