Photo of a Hatz TL 17. Found the cause of the low compression of one cylinder. I think it is an odd spot, also because the head bolts were in tension and there is nothing else to see on the head or cylinder. I expected to find a crack in one of the heads because it started throwing oil out of the air filter (oil bath filter), building up pressure in the intake manifold. But I can't detect a crack, so maybe a leaky valve?
