April 21 Photo of a Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 120 mk3 with Steketee/self-built front cultivator, Kverneland rotary harrow and self-builtliatris seeder. This year another piece of NKG liatris. Released potato land in the fall. Sprayed Bonalan and worked in with Kverneland CLI rotor and Rumptstad culter. Half day let dry and then sow with this combination in the still moist soil. The seeder has first a row of shaker tines, then the seed falls, then a second row of shaker tines, then a bar roller with double the number of bars and then another row of shaker tines. On the platform at the back, I usually stood myself emptying the bags of seed into the machine and keeping a close eye on everything. We were seeding 5 bags of 6 kg of seed on a length of 450 m long and 2.85 m wide. In the morning in windless weather it was more pleasant than in the afternoon with some wind. At the proposal cow end, someone stands indicating full bags and folding empty bags. Normally we ride 8 - 11 km per hour, but now the ideal was 6-7 km per hour. Then you still do a nice lap in a day.
