Yesterday I changed the front axle oil. I suspect it had been on there forever. That oil from the final drives was obviously jet and jet black with the necessary sparkles. Out of the differential came beige-colored oil and at last came out chunky muck. On the advice of an acquaintance I put in a few liters of engine oil mixed with diesel and drove a few laps, then drained it again and put on new 80-90 oil. Exactly running honey. Next week I will change the gearbox oil as well.
