November 11, 2021 Photo of a Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 120 with diy tire packer, Kverneland rotor dough and Kongskilde seeder. The cart off again and ready to sow wheat. Previously, we often did that with the mf 6160, the Fiat 1180 or the Deutz-Fahr 6.15. That went fine on the heavier ground, but on our light ground it is nice to have a little more horsepower for this work. You can then drive a little faster, so that the soil is worked less intensively and the soil falls a bit more clumsily. On our plots, slemp (where clay particles sit between the sand particles and thus form an impermeable layer) is a major enemy. The PTO is then at 540 (1000 rpm machine), the leveling plate as high mogelijk.de seeder not too deep and the engine speed of the tractor often around 1,700 rpm. The driving speed is then often around a km or 7 per hour. With the team we try to drive a bit slower to ensure that the cuts do not crumble too much. We drive 1,700 rpm and then never faster than a km or 6 per hour. The result is that the sowing combination quickly overtakes the plough. Now they may have been giving off showers and then you don't want to plow too far ahead. The man of the sowing machine had plenty of time to fill up at home and to scrape the road clean in between. To pull up the tractor tracks a bit, we have tossing legs behind the wheels. If you get into the solid ground with that, the breaking bolts break. That is why we often raise them in the last laps.
