Nov. 22, 2021 Photo of a Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 120 mk3 with Mullie T-14 and New-Holland tm135 with Vaia 16-tonner. Rinsing this year's last carts of liatris. Damage this year: Flush drum worn out, feed belt in ruins, 1 pump broken cistern is a tick in it. Flushing liatris is a tough job for the machines. Especially the first time when there is a lot of soil with it. Don't discount the hours of flushing and key hours either. I think about 250 hours of rinsing and 30 hours of tinkering during the season. After the season we still have 200 hours of work on it. So just as long wrenching as rinsing. We only do really necessary things during this period because we also have to peel, sort and read the balls. That peeling and sorting is done by a student and my wife taking turns. Our son is also in training for this. The reading is done by our employee and if I have half the time I help with that. Other things are left lying around. That is why the wheel set with the weights has not yet been completed after sowing the wheat. We prefer to leave the tm on the cart as much as possible, because 6 hydraulic hoses have to be attached. Next week we will have more time and I hope that towards the weekend we will be able to do some spray painting (students).
