In my 2nd year on safari by KAZ, RUS and UZB for Cebeco (CIP) I ran into more Laser 150 tractors with the complaint that the engine oil pressure occasionally dropped. Quite difficult that 'occasionally' if you have to make big trips to be able to observe that on the spot. We then decided to visit as many projects as possible with the most used tractors 'preventively'. 1 of these was a project a few hundred km northwest of Chimkent, Kazakhstan in Qizilorda. I received a mini Geiger counter from GGD to be able to determine afterwards that I had become infected. The area naturally has a radioactivity in the swampy soil. Was later also seen in the population that often had a deformed appearance. The consultant farmer was not present and what I found was terrible, on a technical level. First I found in a village the back of the Laser in the front yard of a house.
