Schlüter Nieuw design van Schluterfan

Schlüter Nieuw design | Picture made by Schluterfan

"So selten, das er fast kein bilder von sein...!" Tjah, you have to do something, if you want to write about something, of which there are so what almost no pictures! Unless you have a piece of video footage where that rare case briefly pops up...! Schlüter has experimented a lot, including a tractor that runs on "Rapsol", and already in 1993! Many brands only came up with something similar in the middle of the year 2005. I am talking about the Schlüter Bio Traktor 1700LS, which was built in cooperation with LTS. You can see that in the photo, by the way, notwithstanding that there is no Profi Trac 5000TVL in the photo, even though the plate suggests that haha. So the Bio Traktor was a Schlüter tractor that ran on vegetable oil. The engine is a "multi-dust" engine, so it can run on different fuels, and is a development of DMS (Dieselmotorenwerke Schönebeck). However, there are not 6 pitters under the hood, but 4! From that, by means of turbo and intercooler, this engine with 7.5liter still get 170hp. The tractor was built on the basis of the Super 1500TVL LS Special and thus also has a high-low gearshift (Lastschaltung, the so-called "LS" in Schlüter jargon). A driving infancy, this tractor was by all accounts, but sold anyway! An agricultural engineer used the tractor, apparently with success, on his farm. Hardly any photos or other information is circulating about this tractor, so I made a request for info on the German Schlüter Forum. Apart from the one leaflet that was once printed, the information is rare, just like the tractor. According to the info I got, the tractor starts first on diesel, then switches to the "Rapsol". Before you stop the tractor, you are obliged to let it switch back to diesel to facilitate the next start. The tractor has a diesel tank of 35liter, for the Rapsol there is 300l available. In addition to this tractor, the farmer also has a Super 1500TVL, which would also run on this fuel. Presumably he has this one himself, or had it converted, so it is possible. Photo: Schlüter Traktoren Im Einsatz (DVD) By the way, that this one dates from very near the end of Schlüter's production is also clear from the leaflet, because if you wanted further info about it you had to write to Schlüter's address in Schönebeck, and not in Freising...
