"Ein Blick in der Versuchsabteilung!" The tractor in the picture, is the very latest development from Schlüter, the Bio Traktor 1700LS. Here the Ôko 4-cylinder turbo engine 170hp, which ran on biofuel (natural rapeseed oil, Räpsol), was built into the chassis of a Super 1500 tractor. With this tractor it can also be clearly seen, that they still wanted to use the "more modern" control console next to the driver, which was already known from the Super Trac's 2200TVL-LS, 2500VL-LS and the Euro Trac. Thus, the EHR console was closer to the driver, and the valves were operated by bowden cables. A picture of that console had been in Schlüter's Super Series brochure for several years, but was thus first applied to this tractor.... Either this was one of the many options listed???? The tractor was first presented at the ZLF in 1993, and a few days later at the very last Schlüterdagen in Freising.... At those days, by the way, it was also announced that Schlüter continued with LTS, under the name LandTechnik Schlüter. The end of a glorious brand seemed to be sealed.
